SOFITEL HOTEL - BRISBANE

When the owners of Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane were looking to modernize their 5 star Hotel, they wanted something unique. The marketing team were after a fresh look that was visible from town some 3 Km's away to attract a new era of patronage, in addition "It would be nice if themes could be applied, we could privatize for functions and exclusive events." was raised by the head of F & B. Naturally the budget was was of concern due to the size of the property, yet the financial benefits of color had been under thought!

Our partners "Hot Concepts" design team instantly contacted us to see what commercial grade fittings we could offer. The property having a relatively plain exterior seemed to be a concern for the architects due to the size painting highlights could easily exceed the make over budget. Adding to the challenge the fittings used needed to withstand salt infused air and tropical cyclones with winds of upto 200 Km/h. Their major concern was easily overcome with directional building floods, but our bespoke 316 Stainless steel RGB Flushmount ceiling strips a world first and gave the hotel the edge from KM's away right until the clients entered the building. Additional internal lighting features and the signage was illuminated with Ambi-FX LED’s. The system fully programmable to blend, or lock for certain themes has been in use now for over 6 years, proudly with not one failure.
